UGETHER “WARMS NIGHT - COLD WIND”
During days before Christmas 2015, the winter in Saigon was not as extremely cold as the one in North & Central provinces. However, the nightlife of unlucky or homeless people who live in pavement or shelter themselves in hammocks tied on electric poles, huddling in the corners of streets, under bridges etc. gave passers-by pity.
Towards midnight, the cold wind and dews increasingly made older people and children difficult to fall sleep after a hard day.
Along with the National Fund for Vietnamese Children, Buddhist monk Thich Phap Duy from Tu Duc Pagoda, Khanh Hoa Province and many volunteers, Ugether on behalf its customers gave “200 hats and scarves” and warm gifts to children and the elderly in District 1, District 5 and District 8, Ho Chi Minh City to bring them the peaceful and warm sleep.
